These terms apply to Salvara Deep Read (the “self-read”), a free tool that lets a business look up what Oregon’s public contractor and business registers record about it. By using the self-read you agree to these terms.

What the self-read is

The self-read shows what an identified public register recorded, as captured on the date shown. It is a register read, not a rating. Salvara does not score, grade, rank, approve, deny, or render any legal conclusion about any business or person, and a change between dated captures is an observation to look into, not a determination.

You type a business name, never a link. We resolve every record ourselves from the public registers, so no one can point the tool at a page and have it repeat what that page says.

Permitted use

Salvara is a business-information discovery and diligence aid. It is not intended or permitted for use as a consumer report under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, including for employment, personal credit or insurance, housing, or any other consumer-eligibility decision. Salvara is not a consumer reporting agency, a background-check or screening service, a clearance, or legal advice.

You agree not to use the self-read to make any such decision, and not to scrape, bulk-download, or systematically copy the tool or its data.

Dated observations, not current status

Every value is a dated observation of an identified public source, presented as observed. Registers change and sources vary. Where a workers’-comp lookup finds no matching active record in the register snapshot, that does not mean the business is uninsured, and a blank workers’-comp field means not established, never “exempt.” Independently verify any fact with the issuing register before relying on it.

Independence

Salvara takes no pay-for-placement: paying never changes what a read says or how any business ranks. A business can buy its own full read — that never alters its findings or any other firm's, and Salvara is never paid to change, rank, or place a business.

Paid reads and monitoring (beta)

Checkout is not open yet; nothing on this site takes payment today. When it opens, these terms apply:

• What you can buy. A full read of your own business ($20, one time) and optional monitoring of your own public record ($7 per month).
• Only for a business you represent. Checkout asks you to confirm that you represent the business the read is for. The self-read is not a way to buy a report about someone else.
• Payment. Payment is taken by Stripe on its hosted checkout page, not on this site.
• Delivery. Full reads are prepared by hand and delivered to the email given at checkout, on a scheduled delivery day.
• Refunds. If we do not deliver your full read, we refund it in full.
• Monitoring. Billed monthly until you cancel. Cancelling stops future charges and alerts, and never changes what any read says.
• Promotional codes. A code (such as the Spectrum 2026 code) may reduce the price, including to zero; the read is otherwise the same.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The self-read is provided “as observed” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, including accuracy, currency, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, Salvara LLC is not liable for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the self-read.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows when they last changed, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
